A technique of coating a thin layer of metal on the surface of objects

After metallization the surface of the products will be protected with an organosilicon compound coa.ng (HMDS hexamethyldisiloxane). Metallization is used e.g. in light reflectors.

Typical coated materials are the most common engineering plastics and metals.

Aluminium and other coating materials can be evaporated on the surface.
